Bruce Transitional Housing Pantry Drive

The Women’s Resource Center is participating in Make a Difference Day by collecting non-perishable food for our residents at the Bruce Transitional Housing.

Those living in the Bruce have been determined to have been chronically homeless and earning less than 30% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

At the Women’s Resource Center, we prioritize families – as a result, many of our residents are women and children. Our residents often arrive with very few possessions, and many do not have the resources to purchase groceries. Year-round, we rely on our community to help us supply pantry items for our residents currently transitioning from homelessness.
By participating in Make a Difference Day, we will be re-stocking these supplies for residents and increasing our capacity to serve those in need. We are also using Make a Difference Day as an opportunity to raise awareness for our organization and its programs.
