TAYLOR SWIFT could have gotten control of her music back from Big Machine Records.  That’s pretty well been established.  But she and label head Scott Borchetta have different descriptions of how easy that would have been.

In her initial post, Taylor said she was offered one album for every new one she turned in . . . so she left because, quote, “I knew that once I signed that contract, Scott would sell the label, thereby selling me and my future.”

But HE claims he offered her ALL of her assets, as soon as she signed with Big Machine.

But yesterday, Taylor’s attorney said, quote, “Scott Borchetta never gave Taylor Swift an opportunity to purchase her masters, or the label, outright with a check in the way he is now apparently doing for others.”

Meanwhile, a music industry specialist told “The Hollywood Reporter” that Taylor has no legal recourse when it comes to getting her music back.  In other words, a lawsuit would be pointless.

And JUSTIN BIEBER’s mom called for unity.

(Here’s a rundown of who’s Team Taylor and who’s Team Scooter.  And here’s a detailed history of Taylor’s MANY beefs, and her habit of omitting certain facts to fit her narrative.)
