The Arizona Cardinals took Oklahoma quarterback KYLER MURRAY with the first pick in the NFL draft last night, which wasn’t a huge shock.

Except that the Cardinals ALSO took a quarterback, JOSH ROSEN, in the First Round last year.  It’s unclear what will happen to him, but it’s safe to say Arizona is open to trade offers.

Of course, that’s assuming Kyler doesn’t change his mind again.

He also plays baseball . . . and the Oakland Athletics selected him with the ninth overall pick in last year’s Major League Baseball draft.

He signed a contract with the A’s that included a $4.66 million signing bonus.  But after he won the Heisman Trophy this past college football season, he changed his mind and entered the NFL Draft.

If Kyler ever decides to come back to baseball, the A’s will retain his rights, but he forfeits the signing bonus.

As for the rest of the NFL Draft, the second and third rounds happen today, and it finishes up tomorrow with rounds Four through Seven.  (You can find analysis of Round One, here.  Plus, ESPN has complete coverage.)
